Why not [DOD] server?

Hallo

Why have [DOD] not a game server?
Ma by i can help for a server.
And monitor server.
And player ranking, look for demo
And server for 22 players, better is 18 players and 4 private slots.
Only i have see all dod members come from every where.
What country is best to install the server?

Hey, Miot, if you are willing to field a server, would you be ok with doing a Team Deathmatch server? 18 slots would be best. If you are OK with that, then it would be best with having the server the closest to the USA as possible. Name: |DoD| Public TDM

If i make a server in USA,
I think ping is bad for europe players.
I now that dutch servers have the best ping.
Have you test a dutch server?
Is there any member that have problem whit dutch server ping?
And what you think about player ranking?
Have you see demo?

Anyway, I played Dutch servers before and I play around 80-120 ping, depending on the day (I play from the Caribbean), and I play around 80-90 ping with US servers, so just so you guys know, I don't mind at all. But it would make more sense to have a US server rather than a Euro server since most of the players live/play in North America...

Er is een gozer die Thijs heet (in DoD uiteraard), en hij speelt met 120 ping ofzo in de DoD Public FFA Server. Als hij geen problemen heeft dan kan jij ook met 120 ping spelen.

Those are my 2 cents, I believe orbitaldecay and English should decide

Sry i play with 20 Ping 120 is to high,
If you have a ping 20/80 than you can good play.
My internet connect is 120Mb/sec.
Verry fast, but USA servers give my a bad ping.
There is now a USA DOD server, why not a server in holland?
Than have whe 2 servers.
Al members come from other country,s.
And whe have i time problem i think.
Let whe vote about this.
I think that is better.

I think a European server is a great idea. It will attract more players living in Europe to our clan. We are also in need of a U.S. TDM server, but the more servers the better.

(By the way, gameservers.com is running a sale on Texas servers, private 16 slot dallas server for $7.95 a month! I think this would be perfect for a U.S. TDM practice server)

If you want to make a Euro server, do it.
Just, I repeat, my Admin crew and I must have Admin privileges on the server.
You should make it TDM or CTF.
and, name it |DoD| Euro Public TDM (or CTF depending on gameplay choice)

Or how about DoD Divisions, such as |DoD| Europe, |DoD| N. America, etc. etc., each have their own elite squad, join competitions etc.?

Great i will soon activate a Europe server.
I want wan thing, please put sometimes a custommap in gameserver.
Please tel me what you want TDM or CTF?
I will give Admin crew in log and pass.

I'd say CTF.
Please PM me the passwords and I can distribute them to my Admin Staff. (we dont want everybody on the forum having access)
If you are covering the forum, I have no problem with you adding in a custom map.
i'd say at least 12 players, but 18 would be the best.
Necessary maps: Simpsons, Subway, a few more. You choose.
Again PM all passowords and links.

/btw i get a ping of 150-200ms ping in servers from all around the world... i do play with a dutch friend on his personal server( a house setup, non-dedicated) and i usually get around 100ms or less and i am in AZ, USA

I kinda object to Simpsons. It's choppy like hell. FPS is always 20 or less.

The bot is optional, I am running a B3 bot on the FFA server right now with some custom scripts I've written. If you'd like to run the same, I'll gladly share the modifications I've completed.

What is your plan for the server name? Something like "|DoD| EU Public CTF" would be good I think.

Simpsons is mandatory.

uhmmm what would the password be? hopfully we could have some real compitition, haven't been beaten in a while. Just PM me if there is a problem tell me.

simpsons is a cool map.. there are two versions tho.. one is about 59mb, the other is 19mb. one is named simpsons the other is named simpsons_q3 i think the second one is WAY better.. only for the size factor. nothing else is different. yes the fps is all mesed up but it still is an awesome map... i wish i could go and edit it and release it as a fixed lower FPS map BUT thats not gonna happen cause the original map maker is long gone

But i see no any |Dod| member in my server.
I think whe have a time problem.
So i have chance my server to MIOT[NL] custom maps.
I think is better to stop with |DoD| Clan.

Miot has chosen to no longer be a member of DoD, and, he has chosen for his server to no longer be a DoD server. Therefore, please remove his server from all of your signatures.
He chose to use our clan to advertise his own server, so we will not allow him to take advantage of us anymore.
If you want to play in his server, you may, it is your own decision.
However, DoD no longer supports Miot or his server in any way.
