do we have any teamspeak or ventrillo or plans to get one? i no a way that u can for free (i would research) but u need to type in ip but if ip stays same then were good

You know, the voice server topic hasn't really come up, but they are fairly cheap. Is anyone else interested in this?

Skype can be difficult to run on Linux boxes, which a lot of UrT users use (myself included).

Skype is diffucult for linux/ubuntu users. i was thinking for teamspeak or ventrillo? These both can hold alot of people. skype would be harder to use and disorginized. i dont know much about xfire. all i konw is something that is orginized and easy for all operating systems is the best fro everyone. I also sugest that we put a pass on it due to the fact that many people do "ventrilo harassment". It would be a good idea and i hope that we can afford it. As far as i know ventrillo (from playing world of warcraft) that it is the easist and best voice quality.

*Note* what i said earier about it being free would be a crappy server and i dont think it works*

I got the free server lol. Teamspeak can be set up, but I'd rather have one of the leaders doing it. Its free for one person to have a server with 100 slots using it for clan talking.

Maybe I'll put this in Rants and Raves

Ventrilo will work if its just mac and win users.

Orbital if you want to take a shot at Teamspeak with the linux, you can. It is free if you don't charge the people money. Teamspeak won't make us pay if we don't make other people pay.

The teamspeak or ventrilo will be for the elites to use during their scrim games against others. Its going to a private one, but if you guys also want one for regular clan members I'm sure it will be ok. I got the ventrilo server setup so maybe if one of you want to test it with me, i'll be obliged.
