I'm not trying to push anything here, but do we have any drug users (occasional or otherwise) here, or am I alone? I myself enjoy mah mary jane almost daily. It relaxes me and, depending on the strain, makes me better at UrT.

not any more but i used to smoke every day all way.. 2 grams a day, a lot of the times more than that

Haha, nice. Yeah, it was on purpose...But anyways, how much were you spending on that? I usually go through a dime of schwag a day, less if I'm not hanging out with anyone.

i wasnt spending more then $10 every few days, my brother was my hookup and he left it ( by it i mean a trash bag full) sitting in his room when he left and i would go grab a fist sized nug when i needed more.

i havent smoked in like 3 years, and im still act and look like i am stoned some times lol

Same. I used to do whatever I could get for a bit. But then some shit happens and things get out of control. I've been edge for just over a year now

I used to be friends with this really cool guy named Seth, he was my hookup for a while; he went straightedge after he started having panic attacks, but then started picking fights with his former stoner friends. It was pretty lame of him. You're pretty cool, though.

Thanks man. I agree with you about the edge kids that flip out when someone smokes up. But when it comes to a culture, there are always going to be people that gravitate to the extreme polar ends of the spectrum. And trust me, the normal sXe people hate the militant ones just as much as stoners do.

No, many people can control the amount they take/consume, whichever word is more suitable. It doesn't even work with some people.

I don't particularly advocate or condemn drug use. I have known plenty of people who have done cocaine for years and never had a problem with it (i.e. could control the amount they used), I don't know if "controllable" necessarily has anything to do with whether or not something is a drug.

I wasn't trying to specifically say addiction = uncontrollable. My definition of addiction is not being able to control yourself to do or consume something that will not make you any better, such as hard drugs, cigarettes, viagra, even middle-of-the-night gaming. If you think twice you wouldn't do these things, but some people can't control their urges so they do it and ruin themselves, unless you don't need so much sleep bla bla blaaaaah

yeah, honestly weed doesnt do anything worse than cigarettes do.... i smoked for 8 years and it didnt do anything at all to me. IT IS NOT ADDICTIVE lol... everyone says it is but it is just their tendency... like a drunk, it is hardwired into their personality
shit if it was legal the government would be making so much money off of it... more than they do off of cigarettes.

Yeah, I'll second that. I don't smoke much, but I can't see any reason for it to be illegal. A. There is a ton of money to be made off taxing weed, B. It's less harmful to your body then binge drinking. The rationale is beyond me.

i smoke the ooccasional weed. im also known to abuse my adhd medicine but im over that. i currentally love drinkin tho
