Curious about the process

I've been playing with the clan for a week or two now. Just in time for the "restructuring." I am curious about how this whole process is going to go down. What do the tryouts consist of? Are there measurable metrics? (K/D ratios, etc)

Also, is this more of a social clan, or are there going to be entries into leagues and tournaments, or just scrims?

I'm not trying to question the direction of the clan. Information just seems a bit spread out about the forums and through hearsay.
